Object (Entity)


Object is a Specification of a the Entity Property.

When the entity of a resource is Object, it has a physical presence within the game world, and it can interact with the game world, even while in the players possession. Ownership of resources in this case can be hard to determine, but as long as the player can control the resources, they are counted as possession of the player. Resources with Entity are often found in games with no or very limited UI.

Object (Produces)


Object is a Specification of the Produces Property.

When the resource produces an object, an object is created in the game world when the resource is spent. Most often in the form of buildings in strategy games, but also includes released matter in osmos, and even letters in wordfeud, as all of these are part of the game world and has a spatial relation with their surrounding.
